I did a quick site ranking comparison of all of the most popular online skate shops. I was surprised to see that CCS is still the site that gets the most web visits (according to Alexa). I used Alexa.com to research the rankings, page views and reach of over 20 different online skateshops. There were some surprises: Skateparkoftampa is ranked #3, I had no idea they were that popular. I would assume, a lot of the web traffic is a result of the Tampa Pro and Am contest’s. Another surprise is that skateboard.com slid to #7 on the list, which is bad, considering that just 2 years ago they were # 1. I would like to hear your feedback on why you think certain shops are as popular as they are or why others are not so popular. Add your opinions to the comments.
