Bob Kronbauer’s Mumble Collection on Threadless select

Bob Kronbauer (of clubmumble.com fame) has partnered with Threadless to curate a collection of tees from some amazing artists. Bob chose 4 artists from the skateboarding world to each design a tee based on Outer Space. Check out the tees from Andy Jenkins, Don Pendleton, Michael Leon and Geoff Mcfetridge.

Elwood steps up for Johnny Romano Fund

Elwood Clothing is offering a 20% discount on their online store and 5% of the sales to the Johnny Romano Fund. Additionally, they’ve released a Johnny Romano t-shirt and will be donating 100% of the profits for that shirt.

Stevie Williams opening SK8TIQUE in Atlanta

Andy Howell Launches ARTSPROJEKT

Artist, former Pro Skateboarder and entrepreneur Andy Howell has launched his latest venture called ARTSPROJEKT. ARTSPROJEKT Zazzle to develop an on-demand skateboard printing system that allows anyone to put their art on a skateboard. Also, artsprojekt has a lineup of art from amazing artists and brands for you to choose from. Limited Edition Hosoi Hammerhead x De La Barracuda

De La Barracuda and Christian Hosoi have collaborated on a new hammerhead. Hosoi has designed a second series of his Hammerhead deck, a limited edition available exclusively from Barracuda.

Due out tomorrow, June 20th, each Hammerhead is signed and numbered by Hosoi. If you’re in the LA area, make sure to stop by the new Barracuda shop and snag a deck or one of their new Hosoi tees developed in conjunction for this epic release.

Skateboard design contest- popdeck.com

Popdeck.com has been around for a minute and has recently released there first offerings. Popdeck is an ongoing skateboard deck design contest. Anyone can submit a design and then the website members vote for their favorite design. The design with the most votes wins $200 (currently) and gets a free deck. I love the concept of popdeck and I also appreciate the fact that they screen print their decks and don’t do transfers. One of the things that bothers me in regards to collectible decks these days: the majority of them are made with transfers. It’s basically a giant sticker. Popdeck screens all of their decks. I look forward to checking out their new designs weekly.

Supreme Launches Online Shop

Supreme just launched their online shop. This is good news for those of us that don’t live in or near a city with a Supreme shop (NYC and LA). So, you can now buy directly from Supreme and bypass the ridiculous Ebay prices. The online shop opened today at 11am NYC time and was moving super slow as a result of lots of folks trying to get there hands on some exclusive items. The online shop is well executed, as they only offer 10 items and have a very intuitive user interface (UI). They’re currently only shipping within the USA, so for those fans in Europe and Asia you’ll still have to do the ebay thing.

Fyi, as of 12:30 NYC time, they have sold out of 6 of the 10 products offered. It’ll be interesting to see how they replenish or add new inventory.

Supreme launching online store w/ limited skate Decks

Supreme will be opening their online store Sept 20. In celebration of the launch, they’ll be offering a series of decks via a collaboration with Japanese Pop Art icon TAKASHI MURAKAMI and his protégé named MR. Look for these decks to sale out fast and end up on ebay just as fast. The Supreme store should be open after 11am est on September 20.

Active and RVCA team up for Long Beach Mural

Active Ride Shop recently opened their 20th location at the Long Beach Towne Center. I guess they realized that they had a big wall that needed some color, so RVCA decided to send over DMOTE and Matt Gordon to paint a 46 foot mural. The end result is bad ass. I haven’t seen the mural in person yet but will the next time I’m out that way.
